Land Surveyor Crew Chief - Travel Position

The incumbent will train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of survey technicians, ensuring effective team coordination. Core responsibilities include:

• Develop and deliver training programs for field personnel.
• Mentor technicians on advanced surveying techniques and safety standards.
• Assess performance and provide constructive feedback.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong communication, problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. A deep understanding of advanced surveying technology and substantial field experience are essential.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of surveying experience, including leadership or supervisory experience.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Experience in construction staking, boundary, topo, and related tasks.
• Familiarity with Trimble software and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with at least five years of clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel 50%–100% of the time.

Starting at $25 per hour, depending on experience.
