Estimator Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator in the Raleigh/Durham area to prepare cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects such as roads, bridges, and utilities. The estimator will review project plans, gather pricing, and develop accurate bids to support winning contracts.
Estimator Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans and specifications
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing
- Work with project managers and engineers to develop bids
- Maintain estimating databases and documentation
Estimator
Qualifications:
- Experience estimating heavy civil construction projects preferred
- Proficiency in HCSS Heavy Bid and/or AGTEK is highly preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Good communication skills and team collaboration
