Position OverviewWe are seeking laboratory and field technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong motivation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesWill be working in a soils and concrete testing EEDAS laboratory and at various field across the different states when necessary.
Performs basic laboratory testing including but not limited to organic content, grain size analysis, compaction, processing of material, and compression testing of concrete specimens.
Field work includes but is not limited to soils and concrete sampling, nuclear density gauge testing, field inspection, and miscellaneous construction activities.
Oversee fieldwork, including soil sampling, testing, and site inspections.
Assist laboratory testing and equipment setup in EEDAS lab.
QualificationsMinimum High School Diploma.
NCDOT/ACI laboratory testing certifications a plus.
Experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
The ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
The ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
The ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed.
Excellent driving record within company standards.
