Customer Service Rep
Responsibilities
Take excellent care of our customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires accurately and effectively checking in DSD vendors and maintaining all documents and copies for proper accountability.
Qualifications- Exceptional interpersonal skills and willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training.
- Ability to understand and effectively use billing and accounting principles and processes.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence in English; present information effectively to customers and associates.
- Mathematical skills: adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, calculating discounts, percentages, and figures using American currency.
- Reasoning ability to apply commonsense understanding to detailed written or oral instructions and solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Completion of company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, vendor receiving technical skills training, and Vendor Receiving Certification.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
The job requires standing, walking, using hands and arms, talking, hearing, occasionally climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds with reach from 6 to 72 inches. Vision requirements include close vision, color, and depth perception.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment may involve wet, hot, or cold conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; and exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, with a usually moderate noise level.
