Staff Accountant

A private equity-backed services organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its growing finance team. This role offers the opportunity to support a multi-entity environment within a stable, expanding business. Based in the Apex, NC area with a flexible hybrid schedule, the position provides hands‑on exposure to corporate accounting and a strong foundation for continued career growth.

• Support month-end close, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and financial reporting
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies
• Perform financial analysis and review trial balances
• Partner with cross-functional teams across accounting and operations
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects

• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong understanding of general ledger and close processes
• Experience with percent of completion accounting is an added bonus
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience preferred
