Cleanroom Technician

ESFM is the corporate Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) division of Compass Group USA and a Keystone member of the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). We are hiring immediately for full time CLEANROOM TECHNICIAN positions at Amgen - 4130 Friendship Road, Apex, NC 27502. Applications accepted online only.

Maintains a sterile environment in the clean room by garbing, cleaning the room, and following clean room procedures in accordance with facility practices or guidelines.

• Practice efficient use of cleaning techniques, solution preparation, equipment and tool operation.
• Perform all decontamination cleaning and project assignments within area of responsibility with high consistency, accuracy, and reliability, including executing cleanroom cleaning SOPs.
• Maintain documentation on all activities and frequent quality control testing and verify the efficiency of the work performed.
• Monitor and maintain stock of cleanroom garments and cleaning materials when applicable.
• Monitor and manage contamination sources within the cleanroom environment, including materials and personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma, GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–2 years of housekeeping or cleaning service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend Standard Operating Procedure Documents (SOPs).

• Exposure to chemicals on a constant basis requiring special clothing and/or safety equipment.
