Overview

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm or until work is completed. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.
Job Responsibilities- Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment
- Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control
- Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift and occasionally up to 80 pounds. When lifting commercial tires, perform team lifts or use mechanical equipment
- Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
- Work at heights up to 25 feet and operate equipment safely
- Be on the move and able to stand for extended periods; work overtime as needed
- Contribute to a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures
- May assist other departments, such as ecomm, inventory, and will call, depending on business needs

Physical demands:
Able to operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Exert a pushing force up to 40 pounds. Handling of commercial tires may involve rolling, destacking, and team lifting with mechanical assistance.
Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline). All equipment provided by U.S. Auto Force except boots. Adhere to safety and manufacturing guidelines when using protective equipment.
Work environment:
May be exposed to weather conditions; noise level is usually moderate. Fumes related to tires and occasional car parts and lubricants may be present.
- Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment
- 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and up to 80 pounds occasionally
- Ability to exert a pushing force up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work at heights up to 25 feet while operating equipment
- Abide by all company safety policies and state and federal regulations and manufacturing guidelines
- Ability to pass forklift certification
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (does not test for THC/marijuana)
