Residential Plumber
The Residential Plumber is responsible for performing plumbing installations during both the rough-in and trim-out phases of new construction projects. This role supports full-cycle plumbing work, ensuring systems are installed correctly, safely, and in compliance with applicable plumbing codes and quality standards. The plumber works closely with project teams to help keep projects on schedule, on spec, and completed to a high level of craftsmanship.
Responsibilities- Perform rough-in plumbing installations on new residential construction and related projects.
- Complete trim-out work, including installing fixtures, connections, and final system components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems and plumbing fixtures using materials such as PVC, cast iron, and other approved piping products.
- Ensure all plumbing work meets current plumbing codes, safety regulations, and internal quality expectations.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to support efficient jobsite operations.
- Follow daily work schedules and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and milestones.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain proper use of tools, equipment, and materials to complete work safely and efficiently.
- Support general labor and installation activities as needed to keep projects moving forward.
- 3–5+ years of residential plumbing experience, including both rough-in and trim-out work.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, plumbing codes, and installation practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications.
- Proficiency in installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems and fixtures.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues in the field.
- Good organization and time management skills to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
- High attention to detail to ensure accurate and code-compliant installations.
- Valid driver's license.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools, piping, conduit, and construction materials.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working on new residential construction and rough-in plumbing projects.
- Experience completing trim-out work, including fixture installation and final connections.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining quality standards.
- Experience with soldering and mechanical installation work.
- Ability to work alongside multiple trades and adapt to changing jobsite conditions.

Work EnvironmentThis role is field-based in a residential construction environment, supporting both rough-in and trim-out phases of new construction projects. You will work with plumbing materials such as PVC, cast iron, piping, conduit, and fixtures, using hand tools and mechanical equipment on active jobsites. The position involves coordinating with other trades, following daily schedules, and adapting to typical construction site conditions.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
