Low Voltage Technician – Structured Cabling – Raleigh, NC

Responsibilities- Pull, route, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cabling.
- Install and terminate fiber optic cabling (termination experience preferred).
- Install racks, cabinets, patch panels, ladder rack, basket tray, J-hooks, and cable pathways.
- Build out and organize MDF/IDF closets.
- Test and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling using Fluke or similar testing equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and cable schedules.
- Assist with installation of access control, CCTV, and other low voltage systems as projects require.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas while following OSHA and customer safety requirements.
- 2-5 years of commercial structured cabling experience.
- Strong experience pulling, terminating, dressing, and testing CAT5e/CAT6 cable.
- Experience working in commercial environments such as healthcare, schools, office buildings, manufacturing facilities, or data centers.
- Fiber optic installation or termination experience is a plus.
- Experience with access control or CCTV is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also supporting a crew.
- BICSI, OSHA 10, lift certifications, or manufacturer certifications are a plus.
- Must have basic hand tools, PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots), reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license.
