Shipper​/Receiver

An exciting opportunity for a Shipping Administrator to ensure smooth handling of all shipping tasks for Novanta. As a Shipping Administrator, you will coordinate product shipments, maintain records, and liaise with suppliers and carriers for timely delivery.

• Coordinating and monitoring the shipment of products to ensure timely delivery
• Managing and maintaining accurate records of all shipping activities
• Liaising with suppliers, carriers and other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Preparing shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs clearance paperwork
• Resolving any issues related to shipments, such as delays or damages
• Responsible for creating picklists to compile all materials for shipments
• Converting picklists to invoices so all materials can be packaged and shipped
• Pulling product from inventory to stage for shipment
• Assist in packaging items for shipping when needed
• Communicate changes needed on Sale Orders to ensure product ships on-time

• Possess ample experience in order management, shipping, logistics, or a related field
• Have excellent communication, interpersonal and coordination skills
• Have a good understanding of shipping processes and logistics
• Be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, multitask and prioritize to meet tight deadlines
• Be proficient in using shipping software and other relevant tools
