Qorvo's Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Responsibilities
- Assess current workflows:
Evaluate existing engineering workflows to identify improvement opportunities and areas for automation. - Streamline engineering processes:
Use scripting, including Python where applicable, to improve efficiency and consistency across design activities. - Support design methodology development:
Help develop and deploy methodologies for RF, analog, and digital design flows. - Analyze and communicate data:
Analyze results, summarize key findings, and develop clear presentations for technical and business audiences. - Perform RF simulations:
Simulate RF networks and support related analysis as needed.
Qualifications
- Education:
Currently pursuing a BS, MS, PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with a GPA of 3.3 or higher. - Technical foundation:
Coursework or exposure in analog/RF circuit design. - Programming skills:
Python scripting experience is highly preferred. - Tools:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Career interest:
Strong interest in RF engineering, cellular communications, or related fields. - Communication:
Ability to summarize technical information and present it clearly and effectively.
Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr - $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location)
