Qorvo's Filter Design Engineering Internships are offered in our Advanced Cellular business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment. Responsibilities may include:
Designing of State-of-the-art BAW/SAW Acoustic Filter components used in wireless RF Applications Contributing to Laminate integration of Filter Components into RFFE Modules Running circuit and electromagnetic (EM) Simulations using a combination of commercial and internally developed tools Understanding and meeting Product Specification requirements considering RF Performance, costs and schedule Working alongside Characterization Team to evaluate and diagnostic RF Components Contributing to the Continuous Improvement of Design flow, Methods, Processes
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing an MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering Minimum GPA of 3.0 Analog/RF circuit design coursework and/or experience Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers preferred Software Exposure: ADS, AWR, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Cadence, Dynamic Link Experience handling large volumes of data (measured data or simulation) and leveraging statistical analysis to evaluate information is preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong collaboration skills Self-Starter with good communication skills Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information Detail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products Ability to enjoy working in fast paced work environment Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr - $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location)
