The Commercial Electrical Apprentice will assist the Electrician with the installation of various electrical systems, both indoor and outdoor.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assists with the installation of various electrical system, both indoor and outdoor.
- Perform duties assigned by the project foreman or leader in a timely manner.
- Install and bend EMT, PVC, GRC, and other conduit and cable systems.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and ladders.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn the trade.
- Some knowledge of powerline installation and repair of electrical systems.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent mechanical skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous commercial electrical experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to pass a full background check and drug test.
- Physically able to work with heavy tools and equipment at heights.
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds at a time to carry heavy cable.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned job sites throughout the Orlando area.
