Job Summary:
The Electrical Service Estimator consults with existing and potential clients to discover electrical needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Meet with customer to determine electrical needs.

• Estimates residential and commercial electrical projects and prepares proposal for presentation.

• Writes estimates in the field when required.

• Close deals with customers onsite or by a proposal.

• Complete electrical scopes of work.

• Troubleshoot electrical systems and diagnose faulty items in the electrical System.

• Monitor jobs in progress and assist with invoice collection when needed.

• Develops relationships with commercial/residential clients with potential electrical needs.

• Work with assigned electrical service supervisors, field techs, and staff.

• Generate sales and service quoting opportunities.

• Develop new accounts as well as service existing accounts.

• Keep in touch with current and future Strada Electric customers.

• Abide by all safety / environmental rules and regulations.

• Works with service manager to meet company goals and revenue expectations.

• Become proficient in company software and company reporting.

• All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge electrical systems diagnostic equipment.

• Knowledge of NEC codes, rules, and regulations.

• Ability to exercise independent judgment, provide guidance, and consult with clients using good customer relations skills.

• Must possess hand tools and power tools to execute job duties.

• Intermediate Microsoft Office suite of products.

• Must be able to operate a company vehicle.

• Must be able to complete tasks, as assigned, within company standard time frame.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• 3 years of electrical residential new construction install experience required.
Physical Requirements:

• Physically able to work with heavy tools and equipment at heights.

• Must have valid drivers license and clean MVR record.

• Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
