Warehouse Supervisor

Quality Custom Distribution (QCD), a subsidiary of Golden State Foods, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our Warehouse & Manufacturing department in the Transportation & Logistics industry. In this role, you will lead a team of warehouse associates, oversee inventory accuracy, and coordinate efficient receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods for quick-service restaurant customers. You'll enforce safety standards, optimize workflows, and support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, loading, and shipping of products for quick-service restaurant customers.
• Coordinate staff schedules, assign work, and monitor productivity to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Oversee inventory control activities, including counts, stock rotation, and discrepancy resolution to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Ensure all team members follow QCD's safety standards, food-handling requirements, and warehouse procedures at all times.
• Train, mentor, and coach warehouse associates to build skills, reinforce QCD's culture of teamwork, integrity, innovation, and safety, and support their performance and development.
• Monitor equipment use (such as forklifts and pallet jacks), report maintenance needs, and help ensure a safe and organized warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with transportation, logistics, and manufacturing teams to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and resolve operational issues quickly.
• Review and use basic reports and warehouse systems to track performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and service quality for QCD and its quick-service restaurant customers.
• Address day-to-day issues on the floor, including order errors, inventory variances, and customer-related concerns, escalating when necessary.
