Education Specialist; Special Education Teacher - Mild Moderate - Norton Science and Language

This position will require the following:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Valid California Teaching Credential or permit authorizing service as a teacher within the designated assignment
• California Education Specialist Instruction, Mild Moderate Support Needs Credential (Mild Moderate credential with added authorization in Autism may be accepted) AND English Learner Authorization (CLAD, ELAE, ELA1) required
• Must meet ESSA requirements
• A certificate showing that within the last 60 days, the person has submitted to a tuberculosis risk assessment and if tuberculosis risk factors were identified, has been examined by a physician, nurse practitioner, or local health department, and has been found to be free of infectious tuberculosis
• Candidates selected for employment are required to be fingerprinted and cleared by the CA Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigations through the Lewis Center (LCER)
