Under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy and Specimen Processing Supervisor, the Clinical Lab Assistant I performs routine non‑technical, manual, and a moderate amount of technical work in the medical laboratory. Maintains laboratory areas and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. Carries out related tasks as required.

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License upon hire. Or
• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License upon hire.

• Previous laboratory, medical office or hospital experience
