Salary: $117,187 - $177,944
Bonus: $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

A respected, mission-driven nonprofit healthcare system in Southern California is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This full-time opportunity offers 12-hour night shifts and the ability to provide specialized care to premature and critically ill newborns in a supportive, collaborative environment. The regional medical center has served the High Desert community for decades and is recognized for clinical excellence across multiple specialty areas, including neonatal and pediatric services.

Nurses are supported in a patient-focused culture that values professional growth, clinical autonomy, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
  • Support and educate families throughout the care process
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical standards
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Active California RN license (required upon hire)
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required upon hire)
  • NRP certification through the American Academy of Pediatrics (required upon hire)
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a NICU setting
