Requirements:

• Must hold a valid CA nursing license.
• Certifications required: BCLS, NRP, PALS (NRP Advanced preferred if obtained before start).
• Minimum of 2 years total nursing experience, with at least 1 year in Level III NICU.
• Experience managing a patient ratio of up to 1:3.
• Familiarity with charting in Epic.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for neonates and infants in a Level III NICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct specialized procedures including intubations, central line/PICC management, and spinal taps.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate families about patient care and health management.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must submit all RTO requests upfront; approval subject to facility needs.
• Expected to work 3 of the 5 major holidays.
• Orientation consists of 36 hours before starting the assignment.
• Free parking available for staff.
