Registered Nurse – Nicu (Night Shifts)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse – NICU (night shifts) to join our neonatal intensive care unit team. This is a full-time position requiring 12-hour night shifts, where you will provide specialized nursing care for critically ill and premature newborns in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to NICU patients in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Monitor, assess, and document the condition and progress of neonates under your care.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and interventions while ensuring patient safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate and support parents and families regarding the care and condition of their newborns.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory guidelines, and professional ethics.

Required qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Active California registered nurse license at time of hire.
• Current basic life support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Current neonatal resuscitation program (NRP) certification through the American Academy of Pediatrics.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a NICU or similar acute care setting.
