Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified NICU RN in Apple Valley, California, 92307!

Registered Nurse – NICU

Apple Valley, CA | Acute Care Hospital

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:00–06:30) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a Level III NICU serving approximately 190 births per month
• Monitor, assess, and care for neonatal patients, including newborn (NBO) cases
• May be required to float to Mother/Baby unit for infant care; candidates with couplet care experience may float fully
• Utilize Epic for all clinical documentation and charting
• Participate in rotating weekend shifts, which may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in NICU specialty
• Required certifications: BCLS, NRP, and PALS
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of candidate submission; post-offer RTO may not be considered
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rate; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

• Experience with couplet care (Mother/Baby) is a plus and expands float eligibility
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system
• Flexibility with scheduling to meet dynamic unit needs

• Work in a high-volume Level III NICU at a well-established acute care hospital with free on-site parking
• Gain valuable experience in a fast-paced neonatal environment with a supportive clinical team
