We are seeking a professional, results-oriented Business Connectivity Sales Representative to drive revenue growth by acquiring new commercial and residential customers. This role combines consultative selling with field-based outreach to identify connectivity needs, present tailored solutions, and close high-value deals in a competitive local market. Ideal for a motivated sales professional who excels at building relationships, understanding business requirements, and exceeding targets.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect and generate qualified leads through targeted door-to-door outreach, business networking, community events, referrals, and digital channels in the High Desert region.
- Conduct consultative needs assessments with business owners and residential homeowners to uncover connectivity challenges and recommend optimal internet solutions.
- Position Mojave Communications as the superior local alternative—highlighting unmatched reliability, faster service activation, dedicated support, and value over national competitors.
- Manage the full sales cycle: from initial engagement and demonstrations to proposal, negotiation, and closing.
- Cultivate long-term customer relationships to drive referrals, upsell opportunities, and repeat business.
- Achieve and surpass monthly/quarterly sales quotas while providing market feedback to inform company strategy and expansion.
- Collaborate on promotional initiatives, including local events, partnerships, and targeted campaigns to increase visibility and lead flow.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in telecommunications, broadband/internet services, technology solutions, or B2B/B2C consultative selling.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to engage professionally with business owners and homeowners, and decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, goal-driven mindset with comfort in independent, field-based work and territory management.
- Basic understanding of internet/connectivity needs for homes and businesses; familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily local travel.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Flexible schedule, including some evenings/weekends to align with customer availability.
- Competitive base salary of $50,000 per year
