Manager Security – Providence St. Mary Medical Center

Apple Valley, CA – Full Time, Day shifts – On‑site.

Directs the hiring and scheduling of Public Safety Officers (PSO) and Information Assistants (IA), ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff. Conducts investigations, maintains liaison with local and state law enforcement and emergency services, and coordinates disaster drills and emergency service meetings.

• Direct hiring and scheduling of PSO and IA personnel.
• Ensure safety and security for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain records and prepare reports pertaining to DPS.
• Conduct investigations and maintain liaison with local and state law enforcement and emergency services.
• Conduct disaster drills with state and local emergency services.
• Attend emergency service meetings at state, county, and local level.

• Environmental orientation within 30 days of hire.
• California Security Guard Registration.

• Advanced peace officer or corrections standard of training.
• California Police Academy‑post certified upon hire.
• 5 years experience in active law enforcement or corrections.

• Base pay range: $44.35 – $68.86 per hour.
