Warehouse Lead

About the Position

As Warehouse Lead at Kenco Logistics, you will coach and lead warehouse associates, train new hires and forklift drivers, conduct PIT and recertification training, and perform daily safety inspections and inventory duties. You will support the supervisor and cover other warehouse roles as needed.

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift operators.
• Conduct Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) and annual recertification training.
• Perform EIP, performance, and maintenance observations.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products or materials.
• Complete shipping and tracking paperwork according to SOP and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in inventory and cycle count activities, reporting variances.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and maintain inspection readiness for SQFI, FDA, and customer requirements.
• Communicate incidents to supervisor.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
• Review and analyze daily production reports.
• Serve as backup for other warehouse roles when needed.

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse/distribution operations experience; 6 months of supervisory or training experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
• Background check and drug screen clearance.
• Comprehensive forklift handling and safety knowledge.
• Strong communication, decision making and process optimization skills.

Shift: Wednesday–Sunday, 11:00am – 7:30pm.
No travel required.
