Systems Engineer, IT Support
Job Summary:
The Associate Telecommunication Engineer will provide support within a collaborative team and be instrumental in supporting, deploying, operating, and scaling high-performance telecommunications systems that provide best in class availability, performance, and security. This role will assist with the configuration, user access, and overall functionality of Wing’s Unified communication system. Additionally, this individual will provide assistance with the end-to-end support of all Wings enterprise network solutions.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with the maintenance and support of all Wings’ Unified Communications and Call Center service solutions.
- Leverage several management and analysis systems to monitor, troubleshoot, plan and measure availability and performance of IP-based communication systems.
- Assist with the administration and configuration of all Wing’s UCaaS and CCaaS solutions.
- Assist with the maintenance and support of Wings Financial Enterprise voice and data communication equipment, systems, and solutions.
- Help Maintain and support all Wings Financial Voice and Data Service Provider connections.
- Aid with the maintenance and support of Wings Financial Corporate cellular solutions, including but not limited to cell phones, smartphones, and cellular gateways.
- Support efforts to ensure the highest level of security and availability for core and branch networking and telephony systems.
- Responsible for initial triage, escalation, and resolution of telecommunication and network troubles.
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the member experience.
- Perform basic network operations functions such as monitoring information on all sites and back haul, identifying deterioration of systems.
- Identify, notify, and escalate telecommunication and network issues.
- Identify and apply Security Best Practices.
- Develop and maintain knowledge base and procedural documentation.
- Support engagement in a continuous cross-training environment.
- Continuous learning and development for relevant technology platforms and disciplines are expected for this position. Employer-paid training is available. Restrictions apply.

Qualifications:
- Any combination of education or experience equivalent to an associate's degree in information systems or related field.
- Basic understanding of telephony/networking concepts and introductory understanding of network security systems and processes is required.
- Industry certification highly desirable (ex: ITIL, CCNA, PCNSA, AZURE, CISP)
- Familiarity with administrative tools and user interfaces preferred.
- Preferred experience in one or more of the following areas
- IP-Telephony
- Cellular technologies
- Core public cloud services categories, Azure preferred.
- Network design and infrastructure architecture.
- Artificial Intelligence/LLM
- Experience with Cisco UCCM and UCCX and Glia GLVA desirable
- Experience with Cloud-based phone system(s) a plus.
- Experience with Solar Winds Orion Suite a plus.
- Prefer experience working in regulated Credit Union or Banking network environments.
- Interest in pursuing further education and training.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel. Some travel is required both locally and nationwide.
- Organization and prioritization skills essential.
- Ability to work alone or with little supervision.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong capability in analyzing and solving both tactical and strategic problems, with a focus on development and improvement.
- Ability to clearly and concisely documentation and present technical information.
- Proven track record of learning new skills and suggesting improvements to processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Pay Range:$65k-$82k plus 10% annual target bonus. The estimated hiring range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
