Lunds & Byerlys Apple Valley is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing full‑time Front‑End Manager to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a full‑time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $20.50 - $29.13/hr
.

We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am–10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 7:00am‑3:00pm; with one closing shift from 2:30pm‑10:30pm.

Our Front End Managers are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as:

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Managing and assisting Front End operations including:
  • Scanning items
  • Entering pricing data
  • Processing payment
  • Packaging groceries
  • Resolving any checkout concerns
• Bookkeeping and payroll processing
• Assisting in coaching, mentoring, and training front‑end staff
• Scheduling front end staff
• Hiring and training front end staff
• Assisting Operations Manager in other assigned tasks

• Team player - steps in to assist when and where as needed
• Respectful - empathetic and appreciative of our customers and team
• Innovative - implements trending and forward‑thinking retail solutions
• Hospitable - provides a friendly face and welcoming environment

• Education
  • Required:
    
    undergraduate degree in business or equivalent experience
• Experience
  • One or more years’ experience with payroll, scheduling, and all aspects of bookkeeping
  • Prior team leadership experience
• Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations
• Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
