Position OverviewThis position will perform the internal transfers and shipping of all released product between our Apple Valley locations as well as to our Lakeville Distribution Center. In addition, the role will receive raw materials, packaging materials, and maintenance parts, delivering them to the correct storage locations. All receiving transactions will be done through High Jump, our Warehouse Management System. The position also controls the access point to the building through the Receiving Department and manages the movement and documentation of all released and non‑released product, including coiled pipe, reels of pipe, straight lengths, packaging supplies, and raw materials.
Shift& Schedule
- Shift: 6 pm – 6 am (Night)
- Schedule:
4 days on, 4 days off (4x4 shift structure, 12‑hour shift) - Pay: $20.50–$27.22 per hour (base pay, depending on experience)
- Shift Differential: $2.00 per hour

- Physically load all product with a forklift or electric pallet jack to dedicated transfer trailers after verifying all product for accuracy.
- Inspect and verify quantities of all incoming packages, receiving all raw materials, packaging supplies, equipment, and maintenance supplies from vendors and the Distribution Center in Lakeville for both M1 and M2 organizations. Receive all items electronically into Oracle and deliver them to the identified locations.
- Control the building access point through the Receiving Department, monitor the property via cameras, and enforce building security.
- Coordinate all recycling pick‑ups (PEX, pallets, metal, and industrial waste) by contacting the appropriate companies when pickups are needed.
- Communicate with all departments.
- Safely operate computer‑controlled equipment according to procedures, including die changes, changeovers, in‑process checks, and adjustments.
- Perform reel changes as workloads reach capacity.
- Verify product quality using precision measuring devices to monitor pipe dimensions.
- Accurately and legibly record all required data on production reports (hard copy or electronic).
- Maintain the work area to company 6S standards, keeping tools and equipment in designated areas; perform operator preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Collect and submit quality samples as required.
- Seek opportunities to contribute to business success through proactive involvement in lean initiatives.
- High school education or equivalent is required.
- Good math skills, including familiarity with the metric system.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic mechanical and technical skills.
- Problem‑solving, multitasking/prioritizing, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work a 12‑hour shift.
- Warehouse, manufacturing, or forklift experience of 1–3 years is preferred but not required.

The expected compensation range for this position is $20.50–$27.22 per hour. This range represents a good faith estimate. The specific compensation a candidate may receive may vary based on relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience. Hiring near the top of the range is uncommon to leave room for future pay advancement.
