Packaging Operator

Job Summary

Uponor is looking for a packaging operator to work full‑time in a 4x4 shift structure (6am–6pm, 12‑hour shifts). The position is in‑person and offers a base pay of $20.50–$27.22 per hour with a $1,000 welcome bonus. The company provides health, dental, and vision benefits; 160 hours of paid time off; 401(k) matching up to 4%; and 5–8 weeks of training for all new hires.

• Operate all packaging equipment following company procedures.
• Maintain quality standards and perform quality measurements.
• Accurately label all products and keep accurate production paperwork.
• Change reels and/or carts as needed and document procedures.
• Communicate with lead and supervisor, maintaining safe work practices.
• Cut samples and dispose of scrap according to written procedures.
• Keep the work area organized and maintain 5’s standards.
• Set up all recoil equipment as required.
• Contribute to lean initiatives and continuous improvement.

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Basic math skills, including familiarity with the metric system.
• Basic computer, mechanical, and technical skills.
• Problem‑solving, multitasking, prioritization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts.
• Manufacturing experience of 1‑3 years preferred but not required.

The expected compensation range is $20.50–$27.22 per hour, which may vary based on candidate qualifications, training, location, and experience. The range is a good‑faith estimate and does not guarantee the top of the range at hiring.
