Extrusion Operator - Night Shift

Compensation & Schedule

Night shift: 6 PM – 6 AM, 4 days on, 4 days off (12‑hour shifts). Base pay $20.50–$27.22 per hour plus $2.00 per hour night shift differential and $1.00 per hour PEX premium. $3,000 welcome bonus.

This position is tasked with the efficient and safe operation of specialized extrusion equipment. Operators maintain accurate production reports and ensure all quality specifications are met before shipping.

• Safely operate computer‑controlled equipment according to procedures, including die changes, changeovers, and in‑process checks.
• Perform reel changes as needed when reels reach capacity.
• Use precision measuring devices to verify pipe dimensions and record data accurately.
• Maintain work area to company 6S standards and keep tools/equipment in designated areas.
• Conduct operator preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Collect and submit quality samples as required.
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives.

• High school education or equivalent.
• Good math skills and familiarity with the metric system.
• Basic computer, mechanical, and technical skills.
• Problem‑solving, multitasking, and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work a 12‑hour shift.
• Preferred but not required: 1–3 years manufacturing experience.
