Position Purpose
Do you think of your pet as a member of the family? If so, we share a deep devotion to pets and strive to provide the best care possible. As a Groomer, you will enhance pets’ appearance and well‑being by delivering an upscale pet styling experience. Services you may perform include bathing, brushing, blow drying, de‑matting, cutting or trimming, gland expression, teeth brushing, nail clipping and grinding, and other specialty services, depending on experience and scheduling.

Responsibilities- Complete superior grooms (bathing, brushing, blow drying, de‑matting, cutting or trimming hair/fur, gland expression, teeth brushing, nail clipping and grinding, and other specialty services).
- Provide a thorough hands‑on pet check‑in and check‑out process for each pet and pet parent.
- Use good judgment and alert pet parents to any anomalies that a dog may have.
- Actively engage pet parents and pets, share product knowledge, and educate pet parents.
- Offer enhancements that meet our pet’s and pet parent’s specific needs to support business growth.
- Treat all pets and pet parents with kindness, respect, and proper handling.
- Interact positively with pet parents in‑person, via email, text, and phone, providing proactive communication and exceptional service.
- Engage pet parents to help grow the business.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Rebook with pet parents to ensure timely, holistic care promoting pet wellness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Minimum six months of professional pet‑grooming experience.
- Grooming tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Passion for dog grooming and pet well‑being.
- Knowledge of breed‑standard grooms.
- Skills in scissoring, general cleaning, nail trimming, styling, and all other grooming functions.
- Willingness to learn about offered products and services.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Exceptional active‑listening and customer service skills.
- Good time‑management skills.
- Grooming certification preferred.
- Work both indoors and outdoors.
- Stand for up to eight hours per day.
- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working with a variety of dogs.
- Work around pet hair and dander.
Estimated $60,000 – $100,000+ annually, DOE/DOQ. Salary varies with hours worked, commission, and location. 50% commission versus supplemental pay rate.
