Position Summary
Assist members in the Sam’s Club community by providing friendly and efficient service, maintaining the checkout area, resolving member issues, promoting products, and ensuring a safe, organized shopping environment. The role includes training new associates and supporting continuous improvement practices.
Responsibilities- Provides member service and guidance regarding self‑service technology.
- Maintains checkout and entrance/exit areas, zones, and merchandise presentation.
- Processes purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Follows safety standards, conducts safety sweeps, reports unsafe situations, and executes emergency response procedures.
- Maintains paperwork, logs, documentation, and assists with securing and safeguarding assets.
- Assists members with locating merchandise, purchasing decisions, and transporting items.
- Trains Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, new technology, and tool functionalityli>
- Delivers new program rollout training and provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
- Ensures area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with policies by properly handling returns and identifying shrink and damages.
- Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co‑workers, customers, and business partners; prioritizes tasks, communicates progress, and recommends improvement opportunities.
