Freight Flow Associate

Responsibilities

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics, implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy.
• Operate forklifts safely, picking, moving, and placing merchandise pallets.
• Complete assigned work using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, and customers; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress and recommend improvements.
• Receive, organize, and inventory merchandise from distribution centers; manage inventory flow, merchandising, and documentation.
• Provide member service: greet members, identify needs, guide technology use, assist purchasing decisions, resolve issues, and promote company products.
• Maintain facility safety: conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting procedures, handle hazardous materials, and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation: zone the area, stock and rotate merchandise, remove damaged goods, set displays, and ensure promotional merchandise is prominently displayed.
• Process defective merchandise, monitor shrink, and address security risks.
• Assist with club pickup orders: pick, stage, audit orders, and ensure accuracy.
• Track inventory, maintain instock levels, control shrinkage, and report poor practices.
• Operate and maintain forklifts, report unsafe conditions, and report forklift issues to management.
• Proactively identify customers needing technology assistance, model best practices, maintain equipment, and address shrink opportunities.
• Build teamwork, promote inclusion, mentor others, and communicate with impact, energy, and positivity.
• Serve customers and members, making decisions that balance short- and long-term priorities while supporting the company’s purpose.

• Minimum 90 days of forklift experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely use pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Customer Service Experience.
• Retail Experience.
• Experience supervising a team.

Hourly wage range: $21.00 to $29.00. Premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
