Retail Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting‑edge technology, and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top‑down sales solution.
• Close sales using phenomenal communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up‑skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
• Potential to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers who are interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base, including at off‑site Verizon‑sponsored events.

Base pay: $16.00 to $21.00 per hour. Potential commissions up to $18,000 annually if you hit all sales goals, and top performers may earn an additional $14,500 for a total annual compensation of $65,000+ to $75,500+. Compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance. The starting base pay rate for the listed location is $18.27 per hour.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience (work or military).
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; schedule is known four weeks in advance.
• Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income during peak periods (summer, November–December, vacation seasons).
• Experience working in a commission‑based environment (preferred).
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
• Customer service experience.

The role is on‑site at a defined location. The work requires 40 hours per week.
