Job Description

AR/AP Accountant

• Process customer invoices and record transactions accurately.
• Manage and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
• Reconcile customer accounts and handle discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain aging reports.

• Process and approve vendor invoices for payment.
• Ensure all payments are made in a timely manner to maintain good vendor relations.
• Reconcile supplier statements and handle discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of expenses and liabilities.

• Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries and assist in financial reporting.
• Participate in internal audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Support in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Ensure all financial transactions comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Prepare financial statements and reports as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on AR and AP.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, Oracle).
• Understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
