Overview

We are seeking a Government Contract Accounting Manager to help build and lead Boldt’s capabilities in federal contracting. In this high-impact role you will establish the foundation for government accounting, compliance, and reporting across a growing portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities

Partner across finance, operations, and leadership to support contract execution and ensure compliance with FAR, CAS, and government cost accounting requirements. Lead the development of government accounting systems and reporting. Serve as the subject‑matter expert for defense contract auditing and maintain alignment with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). Drive continuous improvement of processes related to Incurred Cost Proposals/Submissions, Forward Pricing Rate Agreements, and certified cost or pricing data.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or operations management.
  • Minimum seven years of experience in government contracting, including pre‑award and post‑award contract management.
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) designation preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of FAR and CAS, including experience with ICP/ICS, FPRA, and certified cost or pricing data.
  • Experience interfacing with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license; subject to annual Motor Vehicle Records check.
Nice to Have
  • Experience identifying and improving systems and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to build trust and relationships with co‑workers, government officials, vendors, and customers.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to independently develop and execute detailed plans with precision and follow‑through.
