CLA is currently seeking a Senior to join the CAAS (Manufacturing Industry) group in Peoria, IL, Champaign, IL, Bloomington, IL, and Oak Brook, IL;
Green Bay, WI or Appleton, WI offices.
- Client Service:
Develops an understanding of each client’s business/operations. Manages multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. - Day to Day Transactions:
Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and posting/recording of payroll transactions. - Month End Processing:
Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations (prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals). Completes complex reconciliations (investments, debt, industry-specific). Prepares, understands, and reviews financial statements. Reviews general ledger, cash flow, allocations, etc. Proactively creates process and procedure documentation and builds back-up. - Other Quarterly/Annual Processing:
Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s and prepares audit work papers, tax return work papers, and other items as requested by clients. - Oversee workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts. Supervise and ensure efficiency and quality of work produced by Associates and Analysts.
- Special Projects:
Assists with projects for internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.
- 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
The wage range for this position in Illinois is: $65,100.
