Staff Accountant Job in Washington County
A regional manufacturing company in the northern Milwaukee suburbs is looking to add a new Staff Accountant to their team. This position is newly created due to company growth, so it would be an exciting role to make your own.
Job Duties:- Partner with Accounting Manager on month/year end close procedures
- Analyzes actual production costs and prepares periodic reports on variances
- Assist with forecasting and budgeting
- Analyze and reconcile the general ledger accounts related to inventory
- Provide support for other accounting functions when needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Manufacturing experience REQUIRED
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to interact and communicate with upper-level management on a daily basis
