The Strategic Sales Assistant is a trusted partner to top level leadership, providing advanced administrative support while driving strategic initiatives that impact business growth and enhanced customer experience. This role combines executive-level coordination and execution with business analysis, project management and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is highly proactive, commercially savvy and capable of influencing outcomes through strategic insight and worldclass execution.
Responsibilities:Executive Partnership
- Act as a strategic advisor and right hand to the senior leadership; ability to be a strategic "sparring" partner to key stakeholders.
- Be the central point of execution in driving key projects and programs which support long-term strategic plan.
- Play an essential role in the development of high-impact initiatives.
- Analyze sales performance data including KPI's to identify trends and provide actionable insights to influence decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product Support, Mill/Field Service, Customers) to solve issues and drive enhanced customer experience.
- Serve as the primary liaison between senior leadership and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Represent executives in select meetings to support and drive execution.
- Lead or coordinate strategic projects that drive business growth, operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies including safety and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a culture where ownership, respect, teamwork and customer centricity are the North Star.
- Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills are essential.
- Exceptional organizational, communication and strategic thinking skills.
- Interpersonal savvy is critical with strong influencing skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in coordinating stakeholders with varying priorities to deliver high-impact outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of sales, previous sales experience a plus.
- Executive presence and ability to influence at senior levels.
- Previous experience with Salesforce and SAP would be a plus.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Frequent talking, hearing, sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling/squatting, keyboard use.
- Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs, climbing, reaching, rotation/twisting.
- Occasional exposure to noise up to 100 dBA.
