Job Description Summary

The AVS product manager plays a key leadership role in driving and accelerating service growth through service product development and commercial activation excellence for AVS products across the USCAN region, with a focus on Ultrasound and IGT products, customer service needs, and sales/delivery channels for Value Delivery and Value Creation. The role includes leading New Service Introduction (NSI) coordination, developing new service offerings, and strategizing end‑of‑service lifecycle for relevant modalities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide wing‑to‑wing leadership for the creation, development, and commercial activation of customer‑facing service products and offerings related to Ultrasound, IGT businesses, and related Digital Solutions to increase GE Healthcare service contract capture rate/market share and enable accelerated growth.
  • Drive and prioritize new service introduction and improvement requirements from global product, digital, and engineering teams, regional customers, and commercial teams based on customer value, industry trend, competitive landscape, growth dynamics, speed to market, technical roadmap, and return on investment.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop effective value propositions and key opinion leader programs per market and segment needs.
  • Partner with global product and global service teams to assess new NPIs suitable for the USCAN market and develop go‑to‑market strategies considering channel, training, quoting, and revenue recognition.
  • Conduct market research to discover customers’ unmet needs and commercial opportunities, leveraging industry trend insights to guide decision‑making.
  • Manage the investment plan for AVS and related Digital Solutions Portfolio for USCAN Service, balancing portfolio offerings with new standalone offerings and determining dedicated sales resource requirements.
  • Drive roadmaps and commercial activation strategies to maximize resource utilization and growth outcomes by identifying regional best practices and integrating customer‑facing service products and offerings.
  • Communicate complex messages and negotiate with internal stakeholders across functions to align on new strategies and solutions.
  • Show growth mindset, perceive commercial opportunities, and influence others to achieve business outcomes.
  • Analyze internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, and services.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; 8+ years of experience in marketing, product management, or a related field.
  • Experience in a customer‑facing role (Service, Sales, or Applications).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead teams and shape growth vision and marketing strategy.
  • Team‑oriented mindset; ability to motivate and collaborate with diverse, cross‑functional teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and process skills; ability to analyze and resolve problems and effectively communicate outcomes.
  • Proven experience leading and executing commercial programs and managing commercial project go‑to‑market activities, documenting, planning, marketing, and monitoring performance against measurable business goals.
  • Influencing skills and the ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours to accommodate customers and sales teams.
Desired Characteristics
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in marketing, product marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience leading and developing teams with deep expertise in market & customer insights, product commercialization, and branding.
  • Healthcare product/industry acumen and experience developing and executing new ideas through collaboration.
  • Established project management skills and ability to drive initiatives to completion.
