A Brief Overview
The position analyzes operational effectiveness across all the organization's Workers Compensation (WC) teams to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement. Responsibilities typically include problem definition, evaluation of requirements, and implementation of systems and/or processes to meet business user requirements. The Senior Business Analyst will lead requirements gathering, process design, and solution delivery for both routine and ad hoc initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
WhatYou Will Do
- Interview process owners and document current state processes for inclusion in business requirements.
- Provide process solution recommendations with short‑ and long‑term goals in mind.
- Identify and analyze trends in system errors or required enhancements related to the WC function.
- Assess impact of improvements in partnership with WC leadership team to strategize and prioritize key improvements going forward.
- Execute recurring operational analyses and reporting while delivering ad hoc insights and one‑off projects to address emerging business needs.
- Support business activities by planning and designing complex business processes.
- Escalate issues as needed, and verify that the solution meets requirements by assisting with user acceptance testing of fixes or enhancements.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices to recommend effective enhancements and design for business systems and processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Typically 5+ years of experience in project management, operational process documentation and improvement, or related field.
- 5+ years of Risk Management experience in a relevant industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of comprehensive workers compensation function including pricing, operations, classification, mitigation and claims management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel knowledge, and ability to leverage BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and utilizing project management applications.
- Ability to manage projects and facilitate team interactions, employing sound change management principles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of business analysis methodology and tools.
- Ability to perform complex trend and variance analyses to quantify operational and financial impact.
- Strong consultative skills; ability to communicate ideas and information clearly, accurately, and tactfully.
- Solid presentation and facilitation skills.
- Must be highly organized, able to effectively prioritize work, be oriented to detail, and have excellent follow through.
- ARM (Associate in Risk Management) designation or active progress toward achieving, preferred.
- Six Sigma preferred.
- Agile/Scrum Training/Certification preferred.

Preferred location:
Atlanta, GA. Salary range for this location: $70,800.00 – $. All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in‑office role based in Atlanta. All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and may be considered for remote hire at the company’s discretion. The final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location, and experience.
Compensation may also include bonuses consistent with Tri Net’s corporate bonus plan.
