Our Lady Queen of Peace School is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable After-School Lead Teacher to work with students in grades K4–3.
The After-School Lead Teacher will care for approximately 5–8 students at a time while creating a safe, welcoming, and fun environment. Activities may include:
- Outdoor play and playground time
- Arts and crafts
- Gardening projects
- Group games
- LEGO building
- Creative and imaginative play
- Other engaging activities based on students’ interests
The Lead Teacher will work alongside a team of young adults to supervise students, plan activities, promote positive behavior, and ensure that every child feels safe and included.
Schedule- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 2:45–5:00 p.m.
- Wednesday: 1:45–5:30 p.m.
- Applicants must be available at least three afternoons each week.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Enjoys working and playing with young children
- Dependable, responsible, patient, and energetic
- Able to provide positive leadership and maintain a safe environment
- Comfortable working collaboratively with a team
Starting pay is$16.00 per hour
