The Field Operations & Production Coordinator is a full-time salaried position responsible for overseeing daily job site activity, supporting production across roofing, gutter, and window projects, and ensuring quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role serves as a key connection between crews, management, suppliers, and homeowners, while also assisting with hands‑on installations, inspections, material coordination, and shop organization. This position requires flexibility in schedule based on job demands and production needs.

Job Summary

The Field Operations & Production Coordinator is a full-time salaried position responsible for overseeing daily job site activity, supporting production across roofing, gutter, and window projects, and ensuring quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role serves as a key connection between crews, management, suppliers, and homeowners, while also assisting with hands‑on installations, inspections, material coordination, and shop organization. This position requires flexibility in schedule based on job demands and production needs.

Key Responsibilities Production & Job Site Oversight
  • Check in on all current and running jobs to ensure progress and quality standards are met.
  • Start roofing jobs and provide on‑site supervision when required.
  • Inspect roofs and walk off completed roofs to verify workmanship meets company standards.
  • Help produce roofing, gutter, and window jobs from start to finish.
  • Complete final inspection and walk off for completed jobs
Crew & Scheduling Support
  • Maintain daily contact with field crews.
  • Assist with scheduling roofing, gutter, and window jobs with crews.
  • Provide on‑site supervision for roofing projects as needed.
  • Travel daily to various job sites throughout the state.
Customer Communication
  • Help inform homeowners about their projects and discuss job‑related updates.
  • Address customer questions or concerns professionally and promptly.
Material & Inventory Management
  • Check in on material for current jobs to ensure availability and accuracy.
  • Conduct inventory checks on shop materials.
  • Run materials to and from various suppliers for job site needs.
Hands‑On Construction & Repairs
  • Install various construction materials including windows, trim, gutters, shingles, and more.
  • Repair and address small warranty issues as needed.
Shop & Equipment Maintenance
  • Keep the shop clean, organized, and properly stocked.
  • Perform basic maintenance on equipment including trailers, forklifts (tollmotor), and vehicles.
Seasonal & General Duties
  • Shovel snow and apply salt at job sites and the shop during winter conditions.
Salaried Position Expectations
  • This is a salaried leadership and production support role , not hourly.
  • The schedule will vary based on job demands, weather, and workload.
  • Occasional early mornings, late afternoons, or weekend work may be required.
  • Expected to manage workload independently and maintain productivity without direct supervision.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Preferred but not required - Experience in roofing, gutters, window installation, or general construction.
  • Strong organization, problem‑solving, and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with crews, homeowners, and management.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor.
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily.
Software & Technology Requirements
  • Ability to use company scheduling, production, and CRM software to track jobs, materials, and crew assignments.
  • Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and computers for daily communication, job documentation, photos, and reporting.
  • Ability to send and receive emails, texts, and digital work orders.
  • Experience with construction‑related software (such as CRM, estimating, or project management platforms) is preferred.
  • Must be able to learn and adapt to new systems and technology as company processes evolve.
