Position Title: Foreman

Openings: 5-10

Location: Texas - 100% travel

Pay Rate:

  • Foreman: $42.32 / hour
  • General Foreman: $46.40 / hour
  • Per diem will increase to $150 on Jan 1

Duration: Permanent

Interview Process:

  • Phone screening with TA
  • Will have to take substation / electrical assessment

Must Haves:

Foreman:

  • 10 years of experience within construction: craft / foreman
  • Substation construction knowledge - know how to build a substation from the ground up
  • High voltage experience (345kv or below)

General Foreman:

  • 12 years of experience within construction: craft and foreman
  • Substation construction knowledge - experience leading crews building substations
  • High voltage experience (345kv or below)

Plusses:

  • OSHA 30
  • NCCER

Day-to-Day:

We’re looking for an experienced Foreman to lead on-site construction activities for major projects across Texas. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on coordinating teams, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Lead and supervise on-site construction crews, including scheduling, resource allocation, and daily progress monitoring.
  • Serve as the point of contact between customers, vendors, project managers, and internal teams for current and upcoming work.
  • Control crew costs by optimizing manpower, work methods, and equipment utilization
  • Collaborate with the Project Superintendent to plan schedules, manpower levels, materials, and equipment needs.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment deliveries to maintain productivity.
  • Interpret drawings and specifications to plan procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Set and oversee production goals, track progress, and address any issues proactively.
  • Inspect work sites, equipment, and progress to ensure safety and adherence to project requirements.
  • Conduct safety training and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
  • Investigate accidents or damage claims and resolve minor issues on-site
  • Complete and submit daily Foreman Reports to management.
  • $2500 sign on bonus
  • Per diem 7 days a week
