Estimator – Foodservice Equipment

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Food service Construction team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for commercial kitchen and food service equipment projects. The Estimator will analyze construction drawings and specifications, develop detailed cost estimates, and utilize Auto Quotes to ensure precise equipment pricing.

This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven role requiring strong industry experience in food service equipment estimating.

• Review and manage bid packages, drawings, specifications, and addenda
• Prepare detailed project estimates including equipment, materials, labor, and associated costs
• Use Auto Quotes (required) for equipment pricing and estimating
• Analyze construction documents to identify scope gaps, discrepancies, and risks
• Request and evaluate pricing from vendors and manufacturers
• Ensure all bids are accurate, complete, and submitted on time
• Maintain organized bid documentation and project records in internal systems
• Track bid status and follow up on submitted proposals
• Collaborate with vendors, manufacturer representatives, and internal teams
• Support a smooth handoff of awarded projects to project management teams

• 2–5 years of experience in food service equipment estimating or food service construction
• Experience with Auto Quotes (required)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong understanding of commercial kitchen / food service equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in estimating
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
