About Walbec Group

PositionWe are looking for an experienced foreman with a background in bridge construction.
Responsibilities- Accurately report materials, equipment, and hours.
- Manage the safety of crew personnel and the public, ensuring regulatory and safety measures are maintained.
- Coordinate and supervise activities of one or more crews for deck pours and finishing.
- Allot crews to specific duties, ensuring they have appropriate training and tools.
- Assess the fastest and easiest way to complete a job without sacrificing quality.
- Order supplies and facilitate procurement of bridge construction materials such as finishers, burlap, mobile sandblast units, and water trucks.
- Maintain all bridge concrete pouring equipment and materials.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
- 10+ years of experience within the construction trade and 5+ years in a foreman role.
- Prior leadership experience with strong communication, motivation, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to operate a forklift, RT forklift, and skid loader.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work diverse hours including nights, early mornings, weekends, and in variable weather and dusty environments.
- Experience in bridge rehabs, new projects, or overlays is a plus.
- Journey level training in a related trade.
