Walbec Group produces high-quality construction materials and provides professional design, engineering, and construction services across six companies throughout the Midwest.

We are looking for an experienced foreman with a background in bridge construction.

• Accurately report materials, equipment, and hours.
• Manage the safety of crew personnel and the public, ensuring regulatory and safety measures are maintained.
• Coordinate and supervise activities of one or more crews for deck pours and finishing.
• Allot crews to specific duties, ensuring they have appropriate training and tools.
• Assess the fastest and easiest way to complete a job without sacrificing quality.
• Order supplies and facilitate procurement of bridge construction materials such as finishers, burlap, mobile sandblast units, and water trucks.
• Maintain all bridge concrete pouring equipment and materials.

• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
• 10+ years of experience within the construction trade and 5+ years in a foreman role.
• Prior leadership experience with strong communication, motivation, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift, RT forklift, and skid loader.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work diverse hours including nights, early mornings, weekends, and in variable weather and dusty environments.
• Experience in bridge rehabs, new projects, or overlays is a plus.
• Journey level training in a related trade.
