PositionWe are looking for a Paving Foreman for our upcoming 2026 season. The role involves assisting with any and all aspects of efficient personnel scheduling, crew management, overseeing paving equipment needs and repair, and reinforcing continuous quality improvement in the area of laydown and compaction.
ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:
- Assist with personnel scheduling and crew management.
- Oversee paving equipment needs and repair.
- Implement continuous quality improvement in laydown and compaction.
- Maintain safety and ethical standards on site.
- Work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
- Tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, dirty and dusty environments.
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record. A CDL is desired but not necessary.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Punctual, dependable, with a high ethical standard for personal and business conduct.
- Self‑directed and motivated; able to manage multiple conflicting and changing priorities.
- Trusted with confidential information and compliant with anti‑trust laws and regulations.
- Available to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
- Capable of working in variable weather conditions, dirty and dusty environments, and on uneven surfaces.
- Member of the appropriate trade union or willing to become a union member. Union membership is not required prior to employment.
- Minimum of 5 years of field‑level experience laying and finishing asphalt, with prior experience as a Foreman.
- Working knowledge of CMV guidelines and regulations.
