As a Project Engineer, you'll play an important role in bringing projects to life by supporting planning, coordination, and execution from both the office and the field. You'll work alongside project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to help manage drawings, schedules, materials, costs, quality, and project documentation. From tracking production and reviewing submittals to coordinating field activities and supporting change management, you'll gain hands‑on experience across every phase of construction.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $63,000- $80,222 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.

WhatYou Bring
- A four‑year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent technical training and experience).
- A strong appreciation for safety, ethics, and quality, with the ability to support site safety efforts and follow applicable codes and standards.
- Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, materials, and equipment, with a desire to build deeper technical knowledge.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, consultants, and owners.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with experience supporting documentation such as submittals, RFIs, schedules, reports, and cost tracking.
- Willingness to be hands‑on, splitting time between the office and active construction sites to support project delivery.
- A growth mindset, someone who is curious, dependable, and eager to learn, aligned with Calnin & Goss values of humility, grit, and teamwork.
- Prior internship or field experience in civil or heavy construction.
- Experience assisting with submittals, shop drawings, change documentation, or quantity tracking.
- Familiarity with production tracking, site logistics planning, or material procurement coordination.
- Interest in long‑term growth into Project Management or field leadership roles.
