We are seeking a Customer Experience Agent to join the team for our exciting headquarters in Walworth, Wisconsin. This is a dynamic, in-office position central to managing the accurate and timely processing of customer consignments, bidder registration, and general customer inquiries for our weekly auctions of vintage collectibles, small automobile-related items, and more. Customer Experience Agent Duties and Responsibilities- Work closely with consignors to gather all required information and documentation necessary to prepare items for sale.
- Write clear, accurate descriptions of auction items, conducting additional research when required.
- Review customer contracts and paperwork, accurately input data, process credit card payments, and scan relevant documents.
- Load and process imagery for items to be showcased effectively on the internet auction platform.
- Provide high-quality customer service consistent with established company standards.
- Conduct physical inventory, including tagging items and inputting their data into the computer system.
- Proactively master business rules and processes to ensure effective and positive customer interactions.
- Communicate effectively across departments to resolve complex customer needs and inquiries.
- Proven ability to provide high-quality service, ask effective questions, and proactively solve customer needs.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy with paperwork, and proficiency in computers, especially Google Sheets for data management.
- Ability to think independently, manage multiple objectives (multitask), and master business rules and processes.
- Ability to conduct physical inventory, including tagging items, and performing light physical work.
- Must be able to travel to auctions and collection sites, up to 25-40%, including occasional weekends.
