A correctional facility in Prairie du Chien, WI is seeking a Locum Tenens General Dentist to provide essential dental services. This is a full-time, Monday‑Friday role with no evenings, weekends, or on‑call, offering a stable and predictable work schedule in a mission‑driven environment.
Location:Correctional Facility Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin
Assignment Duration:September 22, 2025 – March 21, 2026
Schedule:Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Facility Type:Secure State Correctional Institution
Responsibilities:- Deliver routine and urgent dental care: exams, cleanings, restorations, extractions, etc.
- Diagnose and treat dental diseases and conditions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety and clinical protocols within a correctional setting.
- Collaborate with on‑site healthcare staff for coordinated care.
- Active, unrestricted Wisconsin Dental License
- Current CPR certification
- Proof of TDaP vaccination
- Ability to pass background clearance for correctional facility access
- Previous corrections or public health experience is appreciated but not required
