Position Overview
We are seeking a patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join a well-established private dental practice. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and promoting long-term oral health.
The ideal candidate is passionate about patient education, preventive care, and building lasting relationships with patients while contributing to a positive and supportive workplace culture.
ScheduleFull-time preferred (Monday-Thursday); part-time candidates will also be considered.
Responsibilities- Provide preventive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis treatments and periodontal assessments.
- Examine patients for signs of oral diseases and abnormalities.
- Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays) as permitted by state regulations.
- Perform periodontal therapy, including scaling and root planning.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies.
- Assist in developing and maintaining comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and clinical documentation.
- Follow infection control and sterilization protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate effectively with dentists and team members to provide high-quality patient care.
- Build positive relationships with patients to promote comfort and trust.
- Current Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin.
- Strong clinical knowledge and proficiency in dental hygiene procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience with digital dental technologies, including digital radiography and electronic health records.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software is a plus.
